Draws across the board!

Levon Aronian: The highest rated in Kazan
The Kazan Candidate matches all ended as draws. Of the four encounters, Levon Aronian looked the most likely to win as he built up strong pressure against Alexander Grischuk, but with time running short he couldn't make his advantage count.

Early days, but none of the players have been able to make the difference so far! In match situations draws tend to be more frequent than in tournaments, as the players will play 'solid' openings as Black. An early loss can be difficult to overturn, so unnecessary risks tend to be avoided.
