Carlsen in action!: Day one

The Arctic Securities Chess stars event in Kristiansund Norway sees four exciting players testing their rapid-play skills. From left-to-right the participants are Jon Ludvig Hammer (Norwegian No.2), Vishwanathan Anand (World champion), Judith Polgar (World No.1 woman) and of course Magnus Carlsen (World No.1).

The time limit is 20 minutes (plus 10 seconds per move) in a double-round robin of six rounds over two days (Saturday and Sunday), followed by a final and third-fourth place play-off on Monday.
