Anand looking good in Kristiansund

Viswanathan Anand coasted into the final scoring 5/6 in the preliminary phase of the Arctic stars tournament. On the other hand his opponent tomorrow, Magnus Carlsen, limped into second place after not winning a single game on Sunday!

The surprise of the day was J-L Hammer winning against his illustrious countryman in round five. However he was too far behind to challenge the predictable scenario that Anand would meet Carlsen in Monday's showdown of the giants.
