Anand dominates the Moscow rapid

Viswanathan Anand proved to be too strong for the others, finishing on 4½/6 in the 2-day Botvinnik Memorial rapid in Moscow. On the other hand, the World No.1 Magnus Carlsen lost all three games on the second day and props up the bottom of the final table. Viktorija Cmilyte won the Women's event with a combative 4/6.

One of the particularities of this event was that the players made some comments to the public during the games!

This idea has received mixed comments, but was certainly original!
